In order to secure our technological lead in the long term, we bank on efficient research and development, which is consistently aligned on customer wishes. A total of 475 employees work in our R&D division, which is the largest such organization in the industry. We hold numerous patents, and in 2006 alone we registered more than 50 new ones.
Vaillant Group manufactures its products at 14 sites in six European countries and in China and sells them mainly via its own sales companies in more than 80 countries. Besides Vaillant GmbH as the parent company, the Group consists of 93 consolidated subsidiaries which in an international network carry out production, sales and administration tasks. The Group also has holdings in a number of other companies.
