Ground source heat pump

Ground source heat pumps work by taking energy from the ground and using it in conjunction with a refrigerant circuit. This allows temperatures taken from the earth to be boosted to a useful level for the provision of home heating and hot water. In addition, heat pump technology helps to drastically reduce environmental pollution because heat pumps gain up to 75% of the energy required for heating and the hot water from solar energy.

Global warming potential

The Global warming potential (GWP) is a measure of how much a given mass of greenhouse gas is estimated to contribute to global warming. Vaillant’s boilers have an official rating of 0 in this category.
